    FOOTPRINTS…A New Version

Imagine you and the Lord Jesus are walking down the road together… For much of the way, the Lord’s footprints go along steadily, consistently, rarely varying the pace.

But your footprints are a disorganized stream of zigzags, starts, stops, turnarounds, circles, departures, and returns.

For much of the way, it seems to go like this, but gradually your footprints come more in line with the Lord’s, soon paralleling, His consistently.
You and Jesus are walking as true friends!

This seems perfect, but then an interesting thing happens: Your footprints that once etched the sand next to Jesus’ are now walking precisely in His steps.
Inside His larger footprints are your smaller ones, you and Jesus are becoming one.
This goes on for many miles, but gradually you notice another change. The footprints inside the large footprints seem to grow larger.
Eventually they disappear altogether. There is only one set of footprints. They have become one.

This goes on for a long time, but suddenly the second set of footprints is back. This time it seems even worse! Zigzags all over the place. Stops, starts, gashes in the sand. A variable mess of prints.

You are amazed and shocked. Your dream ends. Now you pray:
“Lord, I understand the first scene, with zigzags and fits. I was a new Christian; I was just learning. But You walked on through the storm and helped me learn to walk with You.”
    “That is correct.”
“And when the smaller footprints were inside of Yours, I was actually learning to walk in Your steps, following You very closely.”
“Very good… You have understood everything so far.”
When the smaller footprints grew and filled in Yours, I suppose that I was becoming like You in every way.”
    “Precisely.”

“So, Lord, was there a regression or something? The footprints separated, and this time it was worse than at first.”
There is a pause as the Lord answers, with a smile in His voice. “You didn’t know? It was then that we danced!”

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: A time to weep, a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance.
    Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4.
You are missed Sara, now you are among the Angels…

My prayers go out for Sarah, family and friends. I can remember some of the good talks and times we had at MCSD 911 Center. You were always upbeat, happy, and a very good Control Operator and 911 Operator. I read a poem THE DASH. It represents the time we spend living from birth to death. I believe Sarah’s dash was something to be proud of. You will be Missed my friend.

I remember how spunky I thought you were when we first met. Then you started dating my brother and then I attended the wedding when you and he married. We worked together for several years, went boating, went to karaokee, celebrated holidays and we always seemed to laugh! Those are the memories that will always stay with me. I wish your life here had been better for you, but God always has a plan. You will be missed by all Sarah. I hope your sons and family know that your presence will always be with them and they will see you again. Til we meet again girlie! Love ya! Robin

Sarah, your the best friend that is just irreplaceable. I sit around and wonder,
    as the days go by.
I look at all the pictures,
and ask, why did you have to die?

You’ve always been there for me,
because you were my best friend,
and I was always there for you
    until the very end.

But now it’s time to let you go,
    your spirit now is free.
Even though you won’t really be gone,
because you’ll live inside of me.

    I will always remember
    your smiling, beautiful face.

    This is hardly a goodbye,
    so I won’t weep anymore,
because now you’re in better place
    then you ever were before.

Even though that I will miss you,
and I’ll think about you everyday
you’ll always be my best friend,
and that’s all I have to say except i love you litttle girl~!

I have trouble accepting the fact that you’re gone, so I wont…

It’ll be like we went for awhile without seeing each other.
But I can see why God would want you closer to him,
cause you truly were an angel on Earth.

    Sarah you will be missed!!!

Sarah “Pookie” only you and I could laugh about this (because only you and I only knew why I called you that name) “I love me so I love you “only you and I understood this because only you and I understood what that meant (even after I told you that it was vain)” Ride or Die “only you and I have experienced this (because if I had to fight a battle I needed to have the right backup and that was you) “Angel” only God knows this (why he took you away from us so soon) Sarah I am so glad that we were friends, We laughed together, We cried together, We used to sit up over night and just laugh about silly things, We had such a great time riding this crazy roller coaster called LIFE together. I am going to miss your smile and Wiley is going to miss the spiders in the bathroom (your eyelashes) but I will carry you in my heart forever XOXO Janice” YT” as you would say… Miss you already “Girly”
